Dr. Aisha Nyandoro

Dr. Aisha Nyandoro is the founding CEO of Springboard to Opportunities, a Jackson, Mississippi nonprofit that uses a “radically resident-driven” approach to end generational poverty. A dedicated advocate for those who do not have an audible voice, in 2018, Dr. Nyandoro created the Magnolia Mother’s Trust – now the country’s longest-running guaranteed income program. In addition to leading Springboard’s community work and growing the Magnolia Mother’s Trust exponentially, her work focuses on shifting gendered and racialized narratives around poverty and deservedness. Dr. Nyandoro’s career has afforded her a plethora of skills including strategic development, management, advocacy, community building, and fund development.
